If an aluminum tower has been “let go” how can it be restored?

While it takes a lot of “elbow grease” a “greyed out” or pitted tower can be restored to a very acceptable level. Polishing with automotive rubbing compound, or even fine 1000 to 1600 grit sand paper can restore the luster. When you’re finished protect the aluminum with a good application of a coating like “Woody’s Wax”
