Built for Offshore Boats
Atlantic Towers® has designed and built tuna towers for offshore fishing boats around the world since the 1980s.
Custom Projects
For over a quarter of a century, Atlantic Towers® has designed and built towers for offshore fishing boats around the world.
Tuna Towers designed and built by Atlantic Towers® since the 80s are still cruising the canyons off the East Coast of the US as well as fishing grounds around the world.

If your boat is in a part of the world where custom towers are difficult to obtain, Atlantic Towers® can design and build a tuna, low-profile, or other specialty tower that packs for shipment and installs locally.
Atlantic Towers® has designed and built tuna towers for offshore fishing boats around the world since the 1980s.
Tuna, low-profile, and specialty towers can be built to pack in a shipping container for international delivery.
Re-assembly and installation can typically be completed in a day or less by local craftsmen, usually without welding.
Atlantic Towers® limits the number of specialty tower projects undertaken each year because of the engineering and fabrication time required.
Because of the considerable time commitment required of Atlantic Towers®' engineering staff and skilled craftsmen for each specialty project, the company limits the number of towers and other specialty products undertaken each year, so contact the team early in your planning stages.
Tuna Tower Process
The project begins with concept drawings to facilitate communication between Atlantic Towers® and the owner.
Once a design concept is approved, CAD schematics are prepared and the project moves into the shop, where skilled fabricators translate the concept into an aluminum structure.
Custom machined components and fittings allow the tower to be disassembled for shipping and re-assembled with full structural integrity at its destination.

Towers can be pre-rigged with steering, engine controls, and wiring prior to shipment.
Then it's disassembly, into the container for travel, and re-assembly and installation 4000 miles away in less than a day.

Container-Ready Tower Delivery
Towers can be pre-rigged with steering, engine controls, and wiring prior to shipment, which helps shorten the local installation process once the structure reaches its destination.
After fabrication and pre-rigging, the structure is disassembled and packed for travel in a shipping container so it can move practically to parts of the world where comparable custom work is difficult to source locally.
The result is a custom tower system that can be re-assembled and installed quickly by local craftsmen, typically with no welding or other special skills required for assembly and installation.
The live example highlighted by Atlantic Towers® closes the loop clearly: re-assembly and installation 4000 miles away in less than a day.

Shipping and Installation Outcome
Atlantic Towers®' tuna tower process is built around engineered disassembly, container travel, and practical re-assembly so owners can source a real custom structure without keeping the boat at a distant fabrication shop.
This specialty-build model supports global shipment, local assembly, and quick return to use for owners working far from traditional custom tower sources.
